55 Ball Run

Got out of work early today and went to Ashland. Here's a 55 ball run - far from textbook and I really butcher the last rack. There's a 3-ball cluster in the rack that I take entirely too long to break open (I miss it in 2 previous attempts). All I'm left with is a desperation around the table shot to try to get a break from behind the stack with the 1-ball. I pocket the 56th ball, but scratch sending the cue ball around the table.

I still move the cue ball way too much and need a lot of work on shot selection.

Nice Job!

There isn't too much I can comment on that you haven't already said. There were a couple of choices of shots I would not have taken, but a run is a run none the less.

Keep up the good work. Next time, we want to see 75 without a miss.

Thanks, Roger. If there's anything I could/should have done differently, by all means let me know. Just like with the last video, the more I watch this one, the more I see what I should have done.

I'll try for 75. That would be a new high for me.

Oh well, it may have got out of hand the last rack, but at least this run didn't end on a miss.

55 & Counting

Hey Lance..... what the heck are you trying to pull. That wasn't you in the video, that was Johnny Archer........ LOL
Really, great shooting. You can stand with anyone with good runs like that.
You worked out the racks well. I would of played a few different patterns but you got the job done with the one's you choose. Here are two points:
In the 2nd rack at 5.00 I would of shot the ball in the side pocket softly leaving the cue ball on the rail for a shot on the ball that was on the rail (lower left corner). Then you could of worked on the three balls that were on the lower rail. Just another way to go about it. You still worked it out.
The last rack was going well until 14.29 You took a shot in the lower left corner and missed the cluster with the cue ball. That is where the run went down hill fast. There was a dark color ball to the right of the cluster, It was a good break out ball for that cluster and there was enough balls on the table to come up with another break ball for the end of the rack. That is the ball I would of attempted to get on when you took that shot in the lower left.
Hope this helps. Great shooting A lot to be proud of.

i agree from mikey on this one. and i think why you didnt shoot it is because you failed to walk around the table. you instead shot the breakball opting to leave the keyball i believe.

Nice

Looks like you took some good advice and put it to use! Rhythm, body mechanics, fundamentals, shot selection and table management were all much, much better in this run. Good job in rack 2 cleaning up the 2nd half of the rack while they were all sitting in one corner of the table. A lot went wrong in the last rack. Repeated missed opportunities of breaking up that cluster, you left yourself straight in and long on the 13th ball and came up short on the draw to get on the key ball. Not to mention the scratch. 10 times better than your first video though. Good job.

Saw the run. You earned that 56 especially in that last rack. Good shooting!

Looks like a nice spacious room, I didn't know there was a poolroom in Ashland.

Great run, although it was way too early in the morning here for me to keep my head tilted at that angle for 56 shots... lol

Lol BJ ^^

be careful a bit-- you have to much body-movement :)

But sure a nice run!

Nice shooting lance BTW, i think you really need to slow it down a little though and take in the whole table. from different sides of the table.

Not bad considering how slanted the table is. :)
