No, Earl wasn't there, I was there earlier. Saw almost everybody on that list up there. From the list above, the only people left on the winner's side are Ernesto and Deo who are set to play each other next. Tang might be on the winner's side too (not sure). Parica was taken out by Parks on the hill and Morro is in the loser's bracket but coming back strong. I believe Hemmah was knocked out today also after first loosing to Deo. Deo also beat Oscar and a lot of people are expecting him to take the hot seat.

Sorry, I don't remember too well because I'm not so good with names. I think I would remember if you described them to me. Is Ricky is dark guy w/ big glasses standing about 6 foot tall? If thats him, he looks like a very clumbsy player but he plays very strong, he took out Dave Hemmah.

He is a local guy out here and I'm surprised that Stix was your first time seeing him. He has been playing out here for a while mainly around Shooters, Stix and the Inland Empire but he gets around.
Next time your around Danny ask him. I know Danny knows him.

Thanks Frank. I know Shane and he is a monster. Beautiful stroke and likes to act like he cant play. Known to look different everytime you see him. Some say to disguise himself.
Usually am on the coast not inland or south bay so never ran into Ricky but he is good himself and has a winning personality.

Danny lost to Marshall in the first round but kept on winning on the loser's side going into the Monday finals.
Rickey was taken out of the tourney by Mallisa Herndon in the last round on Sunday - he took it well enough because he is a nice guy.
Ricky hangs with Mike Montalvo - I have bought cues from Rickey when he needed cash to gamble and from Mike who doesn't. They both hang around Ariel's shop I understand. I have seen both at the Hardtimes in the Sunday 9 Ball tourney and every Labor Day at Shooters.
Ricky has improved and won the 10 ball tourney at Alex's pool hall a few weeks ago.
