68 Players showed up today to play in the $1,000 added Viking Tour Open Division.

The players will be competing for their share of the $5,000 ++ prize fund today and tomorrow.

Sorry frank I have not had much time to type anything in today.

We had 16 tables on full rotation all day long. As soon as someone is done we start another match.

I'll get the final 16 up later tonight.

Since I was at that tournament I would like to say that Mr. Janis puts on one a great and well-run tournament. Unfortunately, I was a casualty going two and out.

On a side note. Mike maybe next time you can suggest to the pool room owner to maintain his/her tables. Nothing like driving hours to play in YOUR PRESTIGIOUS VIKING TOUR to witness poorly maintained equiptment. Such a nice pool room to have tables that should have been recovered 8 months ago.

Snap9, thanks for the compliments I realy appreciate you posting about your experience. I hope you make it back to more Viking Tour events.

Regarding the tables: I'm sorry you felt that way about the tables. I think the tables were recovered within the last month and they look in pretty good shape to me as I sit here and look at them. Mr Cues has a 100+ league teams that play out of here 5 nights a week so they do get worn down pretty fast.

they must be paying deep into the field? (which im not a huge fan of).are you sure you read the payouts right?

Yeah I hated it too when Andre Agassie was out of stroke in tennis and had to play qualifying events to get and keep his game in swing.

This post you made in CAPS is sad...you must have life figured out, let us know your secret to happiness so we can all flourish with your great attitude.

$40 entry fee and the love of the game makes a great tournament, I guess you don't get it?. Congrats on another super event Mike!
