70's tad all original

Very nice. something about those extended butt caps and Tad ring work that gives me big wood.

Wish that one was mine Bud. Hope you can make it yours.

But then, Palmers can give me wood too.

$1,400-$1,600 I got $1,400 for mine 3 years ago at Hard Times in Sacramento and it was in better condition but they are worth what someone will pay. If the guys who said $2,000 would put up the cash i'm sure it would be a no brainer to let them have it. Mine was made by Tad for Ishmael "Morro" Paez.

Bob is closer to the right value, if the shafts are full size.

If they are original to the cue, then I doubt they are full size.

I have owned a couple of these and they do play great, but don't sell great.

For those thinking 2K is the right value, how many have you bought and sold?

It probably depends a lot on where you are selling. Tads in California are more numerous than many production cues, so it waters down the resale a bit.

Also, a 70's Tad should command a decent premium over newer ones, so that also might help a bit.

"Should" being the operative word. I agree with your logic, but in my experience that is not borne out in the marketplace.

Thanks
