Next time I'm in L.A. I'll take some loose change for shopping! :D

You'll need more than loose change. The girl has expensive tastes when it comes to shopping. ;)

I was thinking it was more Morro's style. Can you see him with a Prada purse and 5 inch heels? :D  ;) :o

Yes, but she has great taste. Especially in earrings. She lost a bet to me last year and had to buy me a pair of earrings. They quickly became my favorites! (Even though it took her forever to pay off the debt!)

Yes to both.

Ooohh I am slow. Sitting here reading your blog about visiting Stiix in August, I realize "Duh, me too!" That week I was hanging at Stiix for my yearly visit, and I recall a lovely young asian gal who came in with a gentleman, four of us chatted at the counter a bit then she played Joe a set or two of 9-ball on the table by the back door.

Does this ring a bell? If so I had a bit of trouble placing nationality till your friend whispered "Chinese." If that was you, you may recall I played your friend one game of 1-pocket for $20. Since this is pool-related, I can say I pulled off a nice off-angle up-and-down two-railer, then finished off with a long-distance thin cut passing bank for the cheese:)

"Kevin from Japan" as they know me at Stiix.

PS: And despite my being overweight, thinning hair, and dressed in my normal fashion, such as it is, *please* tell me that my new long-sleeve black Stiix Billiards shirt looks good with those camoflauge shorts. ;)

A word about pool hall shirts.

Wearing a pool hall shirt is always fashionable.

When you wear a shirt from a pool hall, you are taking pride in the game, taking pride in your hallowed stomping grounds (if that is your home room), and/or showing the world where you have traveled in the name of the game.

Even if the shirt is a ridiculous color, pattern, or cut, I can make no comment on its worth as a fashion item. The way I see it, wearing a pool hall shirt in a pool hall is like wearing holy robes in a house of worship. ;)

As long as it is worn in a size appropriate to your build, it is a timeless fashion, and above reproach.

Well thank you for the kind words, and black, as you mention, can be soooo slimming.

Now as to the rest, is it correct? Pretty please? Didn't get your name so I can't snitch that off, but was that you playing at Stiix that uhmmm Sat/Sun 5-6pm-ish on August 20-ish?

It might have been me, except that I did not play 9-ball. I played 14.1 and 10-ball.

Perhaps it was another small Asian? We do tend to look alike.

They're under the fur coat, of course.

OMGWTF,
I hope that your fur coat isn't real or your in trouble with PETA. Also your blue hair ribbons are not quite up to your Prada purse and 5" heels.

Pleased to meet you as well OMGWTF!;) ;)

Very nice of you to say hello! Hope to hear more from you in the future!:D
