This is damn near all a buddy of mine plays.
They use a 9-ball rack, spot all balls and just keep track of fouls.
You're always kicking and hooking the 1.

I just read the rulez as posted in the above link... Never knew about the BIH options...
We have played this game, but the rules we have used only give BIH when you hook your oppoenent and he is unable to get a hit (kick, masse, etc..) we play basically same as 9 ball but you get no points for pocketed balls, 1 pt if you force ur opponent to curve, swerve, jump, kick or masse to get a hit and 3 points and BIH if you successfully hook an opponent and he gets no legal hit. Race to 20-25 pts.

I have the Wonderful World book in my library, so, I will have to check that out. A week or two ago I proposed on this forum a game called "In Jail". Where you would set up shots and players would try the same shot. The player would try the shot and get 1 point if his opponent was able to hit it 2 points of no hit and minus 4 points if the opponent made a shot.
I put this out there to see if there were any interest and see if others could suggest set up shots. Didn't go really where....
