9 Ball Safety Game Notebook Primer- Free Download from the Palmercollector

Excellent resource. FYI, I've added a link to the safety drill resource page to belp make it easier for people to find it in the future.

Good job,
Dave

Thank you guys very much. The response is much appreciated. This is encouraging. I'm going to add some additional safeties in the next few days and update the handbook (there were a couple of critical safeties I overlooked). Then in a week or so, I'll add a kicking section.

I really did not get competitive until I worked on my safety play, but these days a kicking is equally important these days, especially the controlled style of kicking that maximizes a return safety.

Thanks for taking the time to create this book and make it available online. And thanks in advance for the time you going to take in updating it. It is very much appreciated.

Excellent stuff Tate. And all the time I thought you weren't paying attention. I'm sure I speak for most here in saying how much we appreciate your efforts. And yes, truth is that a solid safety game could be the difference in winning many matches that with out it they would be losses.

One thing that gives many of us satisfaction is to be able to pass on what ever knowledge and experience that the years have passed on to us. Looking forward to seeing more. Thanks again for what you do for us.

Frank,

Just hope I did your basic lesson justice here. I've asked several prominent instructors to teach me about safeties and your're the only one who actually had a lesson for it. Thank you!

Both Tall Steve and I have sold our houses and moved now - we're up in the central coast area near Pismo Beach and Steve just moved to a beautiful private island in Georgia near Savannah. We've been here since November and he just closed escrow last Friday. Hope all is well with you!

I now know why I seemed to keep facing a hard table when we played Chris
