Hi Guys.
Need to replace 2 ferrules. Both cracked because of "great service" I received today from one of the local cue repair guys. Still pissed beyond believes but...
Anyway, I want to see if anyone has 2 old Micarta ferrules for sale. I love that stuff and this is a perfect opportunity to replace reg melamine ferrules with the stuff I love.

The new stuff is linen-epoxy. Which is popularly known as Mason's Micarta b/c Mason discovered it.
The old ones I got from him have ivory color. The new ones I got have a greenish tint to it.
Same material but the color is different.

The old micarta was paper based.
I've worked with both materials. I like the newer stuff .

I thought the old stuff was asbestos based and that's why it's not available anymore. I know Dale has some as Brent mentioned. I sold the last I had to Richard Harris many years ago. I never like the stuff myself!

Yes, I was trying to contact him myself but, I was not able to send him a PM for some reason.
SO, as he posted here for me, I get the first shot. I will take at least 2 of them if he replies.

If they are already cut, I have no desire. I need a piece 5 in x 1.5 x 1.5. Anyone know hoe to get a piece that big
