Here is another full video from Accu-Stats. This is a three-cushion match between Semih Sayginer and Roberto Rojas. They are both tremendous exhibition players (stroke and fancy shots) but here they are playing more conventional shots.

Bob Byrne and Mike Shamos are the commentators.

tap tap tap...

thx for that link. Great match!

Production, camera work, telestrater (Sp?), and commentary were all stellar. Pool could take some pointers from the 3c world.

thanks so much for these... for whatever reason it's hard to find 3C videos with
good english commentary. I appreciate that they took the time to convert and upload this,
even though it won't make them any money. I wonder if any of their carom stuff was profitable?

thanks for posting. for those that don't have time to watch the whole thing. were there any notable high runs?

They were playing sets to 15 so no real long run is possible. I think the final set (tied at 2-2 on sets) is probably the most exciting. Here is a time link to the final three shots of the next to last set. (time = 1:47:15)

During the final set one of the players runs 10 and the other shoots lights out.

And, you get to see the beautiful carpet of the Grand Ballroom of the legendary and departed Riviera.:sorry:

I wish Pat would drop a nugget every once in awhile exclusively for Accu-stats monthly subscribers.

is the subscription catalog still just videos from this decade? if so i wonder why...converting isnt hard. if pat doesnt think it is worth his time there are other solutions

thanks for the links bob
i wish there were 3 cushion tables near me

Thanks. I didnt intend watching the whole match but i couldnt quit it. There was a shot by rojas where he double hit a shot out of a corner that i still dont understand. Amazing talents.

That was an amazing shot! Cue ball hits object ball, frozen in corner, object ball mass forced into rail and rebounding into CB, which had running English to go backward into the 3 (4? I don't remember) rail billiard...…………….. I had to think about that one too!

Consummate professionals! And wow, amazing talent both have.

The amazing part was the red is on the side rail 1/2 diamond off the end rail. At first I thought it was an accident. Had to rewind and watch again. They also replay the shot.

Go to the 27:00 mark to watch the shot.

Thank you Bob. It is so good I am watching it again.

Various kiss-backs are pretty standard plays, but that one was surprising. As soon as I saw the result, I was sure that he had played it.

I’ve always been fascinated with how Semih plays.
Both these guys are good at exhibition shots...
...but they rise to the occasion in a serious game also.

Amazing match. Watched it all and only fell asleep once!

Incredible competition, undoubtedly made more intense by the format chosen.

That last set was insanity.
