It amazes me at 52 I’m at that age where I’ve had things with me for over 30 and 40 years . I forgot I even had these two Until I was looking for something.

1) Is an original its George case With joss inscribed on the lid. I bought it from a guy at pool leagues who work at joss. They sold cases with their name on them back then. I‘m thinking I was around 22 or 23 when I bought it.
2) a Willie Hoppe cue. I believe these were from the 40s . I bought from an old friend who since passed away at about the same time . I had it hanging on my wall for a lot of years until I put it away after a move. It’s not in the best condition but it rolls straight as an arrow.

I sell a lot of my cues and cases when they aren’t used anymore but these two have stuck with me. I’ll never sell either.

Sorry for the meaningless post.. just wanted to share

That cue is gorgeous, I love those Rambow ring models. Don't ever sell it, unless you sell it to me!

Both items are now considered classic staples in any historic collection of billiard cues/ cases - most cue/ case collectors have or do own one or both of these branded items. They always sell if you so desire.

Nice post! We can all identify with what you’ve said.

I have a It’s George case from 1986 with a Fellini clasp on it, that case has a zillion miles on it.

This is a tremendous post/thread.

My statements are flop flopped around. Anyways you get it.
