The legends and Champions Pool Tour finished its tour of the south on Monday. Although we knew that the timing just after X-Mas was probably a little hard to get done we still had a very successful tour.
We decided to play golf today and Played at Johnny's Country Club. So we ended up playing with 5 of us. Myself, Kim Davenport, Earl, Johnny and Art a good friend of Kim and Johnny. We had jus ta great time woofing back and forth on what the bets were and should they be raised and how much weight and should the weight be changed etc. It was just like a pool room but on a golf course. I took $20.00 from Kim Davenport, this is not because I am a good golfer. Kim gave me a stroke a hole and still almost beat me. He also had some action with Earl and ended up tieing the game and they came out even.
All in all these great pool players can really play golf too. It was nice to relax after being on the road with a hectic schedule and I was honored with the company I was keeping. Well I head back to Phoenix tomorrow and begin working on the next leg of the tour hopefully at the begining of march on the East Coast.
Oh last thing, Earls quote of this leg of the tour was. "If I were a hooker and went to a hotel room to do my job and found out I had to work on T-Wheels I would slit my wrists" He said this in front of a number of people and Archer almost fell to his knees laughing when he heard it. Probably due to that fact that it was said only in the way that Earl could say it.
Well we have had a great time in the short period we have had in the South and everyone has been very nice and helpful. Thank you to everyone who has helped us and supported us over the past couple of weeks including all the APA League Operators, Brunswick Billiards and Got Action Sportswear.

At that time I was probably playing to a 6, and after 4 holes I realized I better miss a few shots so there were no negotiations after the turn!:grin-square: I never felt so great about an 82 in my life!
