I saw a guy loose 2 bills thinking this shot was easy. You can adjust its difficulty by moving the balls further apart.

I just use pure side on this shot, if I just have to make the shot. I shoot softly, so the side
wears off the cue ball just about the time it hits the object ball. But the cue ball will follow
somewhat straight, and stay on the rail.
So, If you are playing position for another ball, perhaps you may want to use draw as well,
but I figured I'd mention that it can be made (easier for me) without the draw.

TAP TAP TAP. I agree on using simple right center english if you are shooting the shot on the right side of the table. Left center english if you are shooting on the left side of the table. Your stroke will push the cue ball out(away from the rail) naturally so it misses the side pocket points, but the english will spin it back into and down the rail after the side pocket.
If the cue ball and the object ball are the same (opposite)distance down the rails from the center pocket, it's a pretty consistent shot to understand/make. The closer the object ball is to the center pocket-farther away from the corner you are trying to make it it, the harder this shot is to make because of getting the cue to spin back in towards the rail after missing the side pocket points. I also think it is easier to make on the right if you stroke with right hand because you can rest your bridge hand on the table better. Where as on the left, your bridge hand as to deal with the rail.
Nice stroke shot to practice as it has come in handy.
