Bought a new shaft with a navigator hard tip and i like how it plays, looking for recommendation for a hard tip that does not sound like a break tip

The tried and true Everest is one of the "hardest" medium tips available.

When you could find a good one, a good ol' Triangle was hard to beat.
Yup, I have my Triangles hard pressed too.
Best value in tips and of course never have to worry about layers separating.
I'm confused. A couple of people mention Tiger Everest as being one of the hardest medium tips but looking at the following link I see Tiger Everest being listed in the the more softer side of the medium hardness group? With this chart I would recommend getting one G2 medium and one G2 hard, USA version is ok with me...

I don't really understand this statement either? Are you saying a subjective opinion is more noteworthy than a comparable table of measurements nicely and freely displayed for each listed tip?

I think, if you take a box of triangles, and install them all, some will just plain soft and bad, some will be really hard, some will be kind of medium with a nice bump. How they can lay an accurate number on that makes no sense to me.
Pooldawg8 is hard to beat for pressed tips!!
Was gifted one of his pressed tips.
Loved it. Played similar to my hard pressed Triangles.
Must be 200 tips out there.
More coming to the market every month.
since i failed awhile back to find a decent triangle, all 4 i tried were rubbish. But the other day, i got lucky.
I had a couple left.and picked a good one. The right color, not too soft, not too hard. I never tried them pressed.
How do they play? Do they last?
They play just right for me. That's all I can say.
I like the hit of them.
I have 4 absolutely identical shafts and I rotate them every session.
I get them all re tipped at the same time. I do this about every 6 years or so.
I scuff the tip before every session with a good old Willards tip shaper.
Not much more is needed ever and of course I never have to worry about a layer separating.

They play well. Imo, last a long time!!
