Anybody ever seen one of these? Or know what it is? Year made? Brand? Value? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I bought an A.E. Schmidt a few years ago and it has similar legs and rails on it. Mine has the leather basket drop pockets but it's similar none the less. It does have the metal A.E. Schmidt name plate but to figure the age I contacted them. There is a serial number up underneath and the one I have was made in 1934 if I remember right.

Nameplate is faded out, and he said the pockets were leather? That's a good guess though...didn't think of that:thumbup:

You got help, check the serial number and/or contact AE Schmidt. It is an uncatalogued model of theirs. The legs definitely say Schmidt without a doubt.

Ok relax buddy:thumbup:....wondering if there was ANY MORE help......Maybe someone who says its not an AE Schmidt table? My Buddy Stakehorse doesnt know a pool table from a hole in his head....PLUS, there is no serial number:eek: Sooooo any more help or ideas?

I'm sorry, that sounded snarkier than I meant it to. There's no plate tucked up underneath the aprons? They stuck them in weird places on the older tables.

If it is not a Schmidt, it is probably a clone. Is the nameplate completely unreadable? Can you get an HD photo of it on here?

Maneplate is completely unreadable...No numbers we can see....I will work on the photo.

Circa 1941 table made by C.C. Steepleton & Company. I believe the model is a Arc Royal.

Wow, that's pretty good info? Any idea what this would be worth today? Just selling for a friend....he's realistic and just wants it gone....

A hole in the head is worth two in the bush... I'm surprised Ken hasn't spoke up, I forgot he had a table like this several years ago. He converted it to table tennis when he played on the tour under the name "Brack Friday Bunduru".
