A question to John Barton

Okay I'll confess. I was working on my drone cue ball 2.0 and just happened to be there testing it. Barton's involvement was complete coincidence.

I have these things for sale. Efren had the original version and it worked well for him. You think all those shots he hit were skill? Drone cue ball baby.

I knew I heard some kind of buzzing!

If you are of a certain age and can clearly recall where you were on 11/22/63, that episode is particularly unfunny.

Well, I wasn't around back then, but that was still unfunny.

The entire show was unfunny.

Jerry Seinfeld as a comedian is unfunny.

you guys really need to start including "IMO" along with some of your comments.

as an fyi, there's a whole bunch of people who think Jerry Seinfeld is very funny.

The show began in 1989 and ran in prime time for nearly 10 years. It can be seen at least twice daily on most cable systems now, close to 20 years after the show ended.

You don't get those kinds of ratings for being "unfunny".

imo, of course.

now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

best,
brian kc <--- wondering is "unfunny" a real word.

Yep, terrific show, and cross generational. My teenage son can watch it, as well as his 80 year old grandmother, and they both laugh. The fun part of the show is how they tie what is going on with everyone else into the final. Great writing.

The whole scene was a riff on Oliver Stone's film on JFK, which was pertinent at the time.

Cheer up, fellas.

Hell, we used to tape it and watch it on lunch break at work.
The show was a riot.
So was Friends.

Sgt. Bilko (It's Phil Fuggin Silvers, need I say more)
Big Bang Theory (great writing, and unworldly funny)
Seinfeld (Giddy Up)

Runner Up:

I still believe it was a big "MOVE" by Lou to have Eric there knowing it would upset John.
John and Eric have had a feud for years so the confrontation was to be expected.

As God as my witness, I thought turkey's could fly :)

Badges? We don't need no stinking badges.....

I play that episode for my kids every thanksgiving. They bust a gut. "They're crashing into the ground like bags of wet cement...."

I still believe John wanted Eric to hit him, to avoid him losing $10k and showing his ass on YouTube. I think my theory makes way more sense, seeing as it was John that initiated the chirping with Eric.

We will never know for sure but this was how I felt too. I was one of ones playing with Eric when it all started. It was weird, IMO.

yep, in hindsight I think that's what it was all about. Wasn't till chit got real -- with the pool balls in fists -- that he thought better of it and backed off.
