A shot I cant remember...

i have been out of pool rooms for years and cant remember, I think I made a spot shot on Stevens cloth without hitting a rail. Was that shot possible with BIH behind the line? I seem to remember doing it but am not sure, I dont think its possible on 860 to kill the rock before hitting a rail. Is my memory correct? Making a spot shot and killing the rock.

I remember making the front ball when 2 balls are spotted pushing the top ball foward, but I cant remember making one ball with no rail with the CB.

It is indeed possible to shoot (and make) a spot shot with ball in hand behind the foul line and not have the cueball hit a rail..........its possible on 860 or even 760.;)

i havent tried it in years it just popped into my head, i'll go play around with it soon. i thought I could do it years ago. they say the mind is the first thing to go,,,,they are wrong my back was first, then my mind. :(

For me the shot is damn near impossible, but I have a friend who when I showed it to him he made it on his second try... and then again on his 4th, and on his 5th, and so on... now he goes around showing people the shot and taking bets.

Actually Fatboy, there are 3 signs of old age. The first is loss of memory and ...........uh............ I forget the other two....:D

It is a trick shot. You just shoot it regularly and then run and grab the CB before it hits the end rail.

Keep your head down and follow thru. You can do it, practice it up and get the $!

This is one of the few shots I can actually do! I have Simonis 860 on my table.

You can slow roll it in on 860 and not hit the back rail with the cue ball...but you have to hit it very well...a shot that anyone can make with enough practice and right equipment. I hit it with low and kind of push the cue ball to the object ball.

You can also fire down on the ball with a little jump to it and park the cue ball near the center of the table...a shot that almost no one can do, except a few with amazing strokes...ask Shane V., i bet he can shoot this shot.

The second shot is similar to this shot...Buddy said that Vernon Elliot could shoot both shots with ease.
