I'm really sorry and didn't mean that in any way disrespectful - I asked because I wanted to understand the "style" here.
And yes - sorry, I cant like it even one bit :sorry:
I do like this cue, but in the matter of not liking a cue that might be popular with others you are not alone.
I am always happy to see cues posted in the gallery here.
I don't always like the cue posted. But if I comment I generally try to thank the owner for showing it off and often try to make some observation to show I noticed something about the cue worthy of comment. If I don't particularly like a cue I will still thank the owner and try to make some observation while simply stating the cue is not to my taste.
Personally, I think your question is fair. I am no expert but would like to try to answer. Many here know a lot more than me and I am fortunate to learn from them. Some have been kind enough to contact me to discuss cues and I appreciate that a great deal.
My answer is that such qualitative statements about cues are purely subjective. I said the cue was "classic" and I think it is. Such a cue as this is an instant classic in my view. Sexy? I can see that. It is sexy in the way that a truly beautiful woman without make up is sexy. Nothing dressed up. The kind of woman you know will make you breakfast. Not a fast moving Saturday night fling but a woman that feels right in your arms. One that you know is 100% reliable. She may not make the front page of a glamour magazine but every man will envy you for having her. The kind of woman you want to have children with and grow old with. She probably speaks French as a second language and went to one of the best private schools. She has palpable presence, is unpretentious, and has a quiet beauty. And more than just that, a woman with all those qualities and also a pedigree. Real "breeding stock". A woman that your mother will approve of and that will deepen the roots of your family tree. A woman that will fit in at the private Country Club. A gentleman's lady.
That may not mean sexy to some, but I think that it is to many.
Guys, if I missed the mark, feel free to educate me.
