It is a conundrum for sure. The wise old man has used the young naive person throughout time to create his wealth and fight his battles. Not likely to change soon.
 
Big fan of Florian here but AGT was the wrong platform for him.

He'd have been better off on a variety show like "Live with Kelly and Mark," on which Jeanette Lee once appeared or "The Today Show", which staged a pool exhibition outdoors outside Rockefeller Center. Mizerak scored with his TV commercial, and both Loree Jon Jones and Jean Balukas had appearances on TV variety shows during their respective primes. Jean even appeared on "What's My Line", a game show of yesteryear. Shane got his exposure on 60 Minutes.

And if you think "sporty" describes Florians` talent you are using the wrong word. He plays far, far beyond sporty.
Florian is the Simone Biles of trick shots. There is her and everybody else. Doing things no one else dares or has the skill to try.
I asked you who you thought was better. Are you saying Martin? Big stretch there. Thats like comparing triple A to the bigs.

Worked well for a guy named Terry Fator.
Less than a year after winning AGT and fulfilling a five month contract for $1.5M with Las Vegas Hilton, he signed a five year deal with Mirage Resorts for $100M.

I guess he's still getting checks from that measly million.

Yes, I get it. It can be a stepping stone for some, but that is the exception usually. Others make pennies on the dollar. AGT has all the connections and contracts secured just like Hollywood and the Music industry do too. Without selling your soul to these powerful groups, it makes it almost impossible to have that level of success. Athletes and their organizations are usually dependent on each other. Individual sports like golf, tennis, bowling and pool offer the rare but seldom exercised exceptions. We saw the PGA being challenged by the LIV tour just recently. Less likely to be successful with other organizations. Arena football made an attempt in years past, but wasn't fully successful in disrupting the established NFL. It's the system and it's hard to beat the established system. Now pay the man and your taxes on the labor and skills you provided.
 
How much does it cost to get on AGT?

Florian is the number one for many billiard trick analytics.

He is a machine at putting out press.

Maybe I misinterpreted what I was seeing, but I thought the crowd was behind Florian.

To me, the crowd was booing the judges when they said anything negative about Florian.
