A video from the past

So, I was digging through some old stuff and came across a couple video tapes from the 2000 US Open including the Barry Berhman roast. This roast really became a roast of everyone in the room. I have imported the entire roast (about 90 minutes) imported into my computer but I need to convert it to a different format and figure out where I can post it.

The video contains Marty Sawinski roasting Earl. It is nice to see all the players having a good time and letting their guard down a little.

After watching the teaser, I realized that there may be people in the pool world that *gasp* haven't ever seen the Z-shot. That would be like never seeing "The Hustler" or "The Color of Money."

That was FANTASTIC. It is fun to see the players laughing and having a good time at the roast.

I haven't seen that Marty guy in several years. He used to come to the U.S. Open every year. He is quite talented and can do some GREAT impersonations. He's got Earl down to a tee!

Gret Memory

This is a great video and memory. I remember being in the room at this roast and it was one wonderful evening, everyone had a great time, laughter everywhere. Looking back 6 years later and seeing this as well as the fantastic video of the match between Efren and Earl, I am happy to see people get a chance to be reminded of the self-effacing, humorous and gracious side of The Pearl.
