Everybody,

First, thanks for your orders on the CD. We will be able to forward $14 from each one to help defray medical expenses for Janice and so far we have sold 27 CD's. So, do the math and you can see that you have helped, indeed.

One thing I need to make clear: This is not an audio CD. It is not a 'speaking' book. You cannot play it in a CD music player. It is a text file that you read on the computer screen. The boss will think you're working.

We would like to sell 73 more CD's in the coming week. Please help if you can. It's a great stocking-stuffer!

Thanks again,
-Jerry

Is this a book? or going to be a book in paperback/hardcover? I am really interested in it, but wouldnt be interested in a text file. Is there a timeframe on when it would be available as a book?

Thanks.

Where are the southerners?

We just shipped out all of the CD's ordered so far. All but one were bought by folks above the Mason-Dixon line. I find that a little strange since the Bludworths live in Texas.

As for the previous post. One more time, there is no schedule as to when the CD will be in book format. That is up to whatever publisher picks it up. Certainly no sooner than late spring. And if you don't want it on CD, fine, just send Leonard twenty bucks. See, this isn't about the CD, it's about helping Leonard. The CD is just a perk.

I think it may be a good idea to do a special limited offering of autographed copies that you could even charge a little more for. I haven't ordered one because I have known Danny most of my life and wanted an autographed copy. I called the pool room yesterday and they told me Danny hadn't been around for a while, I figured I would just buy a copy from him and get it signed. So I am going to order a copy from you here and get it signed later on. Just a thought that may help you get a few more orders.

I cannot seem to tear myself away from the CD. I can actually hear Danny's voice as I read the words. It's uncanny how many names I recognize from years gone by that I had forgotten about. Danny's memory is phenomenal. I definitely like the cover with the detailed picture of the used cue!

Matter of fact, a talking book by Danny himself doesn't sound like a bad idea at all down the road. Traveling folk enjoy audio books, and pool people do travel quite a bit. Danny is a hoot to listen to when he gets going. I'm not finished the whole book yet, but I did make it to Chapter 10. :D

Well done! I mean really, really well done! :)

Jerry, I just bought one. I don't see why you wouldn't sell a ton of them - great stuff!
