I figured I might as well introduce myself. My name is Greg Jacklin. I have been lurking in the shadows of AZ for about 2 years and have learned many great things many great people. I have also only been playing pool for about 2 yrs and have picked up the game very fast. I learned to play while stationed at Osan AB in S. Korea and picked up a few good teachers on my many trips to the pi. I am still Active duty Air Force and I work part time doing sales for a Schuler Dealer out of South Dakota. I know I have been given a bleesed hand to have been helped along the way by some great people and I hope in the future I can do the same for others. If anyone ever needs anything or your in my neck of the woods and want to shoot around send me a PM. I hope to meet many of you while I will be enjoying my trip to Vegas in May.

Cheers,
Jackal

Ouch! Ellsworth? Are you from that area originally? Well you may have heard of a pretty good player from that area, I think his name is Shane Van Boening. I'm not 100% sure, but I think I heard he's won some small tournaments around here. You would probably do well to hook up with him.

Seriously, welcome and hope to hear your opinions on some of these wonderful threads!!

LOL, I think I heard of that guy. I know his gramps pretty good. Stil have yet to meet him. I had to go work a tourney in Walker MN so I missed the Four bears Classic. I am actually stationed at Minot which is pretty much in the middle of no where. Not from here at all. I have lived pretty much everywhere though east/west coast, europe and Asia. I must say one thing though Being back in america is an eye opener of sorts. People are way different and way to sensitive. But anyways, There are a lot of really top notch players around these parts that I hope one day break out. I think I will always be stuck in the sales repair business. I like dealing with people to much and all this competitiveness is over rated. I liked it when it was all fun and games with some action on the side. Even at the smaller tourneys people get way to out of line.

Sorry I just figured since you were in the Air Force and working in South Dakota, that it was Ellsworth. Instead you're in "Why not Minot" where freezing's the reason!! Good luck there!! I was stationed below you in Nebraska years ago!!

Never heard that one.... I like it..BTW way it's still 20 degrees here and snowing

Welcome to the forum, but how is it that you've been lurking in the shadows and still have over 400 posts?

Greg...Welcome to the board! It was nice talking to you yesterday! As far as that 20 degree sh*t, and snowing...well, let's just say I'm glad I'm down here in FL...sunny and 80! See ya in Vegas next month!

P.S. I missed the diff between "Mindrot" and Minot! LMAO I lived in MT for 25 years, and we used to make ND jokes all the time. You probably do the same about Montanans..."honest officer, I was just helping her (the sheep) over the fence!":grin:
