ABR 2Nite: Peeling The Onion and Wagging the Dog

Summary:
Souquet gave them less than an hour notice, and asked to be paid immediately. They paid him 3/4 place, which they say was an error. They say they should have paid him 5/8.
Next, Ko's manager said he didn't want to play Shane. Ozzy told him the 2nd place player in the group would be bumped and Ko would get 5/8 place money rather than 3/4.
 
They say the plan was to advance one player from each group into the 4 semifinal spots, and so when Souquet forfeited, they bumped the second-place player.

Mark is getting angry about the keyboard kommandos.
 
Oh, and they said earlier that the theory that Dennis dumped didn't make sense because Dennis lost money when he lost.

Well, I respectfully agree to disagree. My conversation with Dennis was immediately after CSI came out of a meeting room with him where they questioned him about his match with Ralf.

Regardless, I am not blaming Mark for the end of the world. I have chosen to take my comments private with Mark and that'll be the end of it for me.
 
Id like to know the answer that Mark Cantrell asked about what wouldve happened if Ralph wouldve showed up and then forfeited......instead of withdrawing before the match started.
 
well, after hearing this, right decision or wrong decision, it is clear the decision was made with best intentions.

if Ralf had done the lag & rack had been cracked, and then Ralf had unscrewed - end of game.

As far as Dennis not dumping for $500-$750 more if he won. Why do players dump? They dump so a friend/partner can bet against them and make a hell of a lot more than $500. Johnnyt
 
I still say Dennis dumped and Ralf felt he didn't deserve to play in the semi. Johnnyt/ John Terrell
