this is an awesome event!!! Hopefully we will get to see the likes of Frost, Efren, Alex, Josh Roberts, Danny Smith, Justin Hall, and can't forget Busti.

What I didn't like about the "Make it Happen" event I purchased (8b,10b,1p,and 14.1) was that they shortened the matches because players were tired towards the end of the tournament and one player already had the tournament won anyway. For instance they would make the 14.1 match to 100 instead of 150. I understand players getting tired, but they also have to understand that people are paying for something as advertised. It also affected the way they played like...just smack the ball since I can't win anyway or the player that had it won would do something he wouldn't normally do since he already had it wrapped up.

Even if they already have it wrapped up, each match is worth a thousand dollars to the winner. Pat Flemming is very smart in doing that. Last year at the eight ball invitational, Darren Appleton already had the title locked up but Shane and him had to play one final match, and the incentive to win by both players was an extra thousand dollars to the winner.

They still shortened the 14.1 match, and I saw Darren mess up a leave so he just blasted the CB into the rail at the OB before he was even down on the shot since he had it wrapped up at 8-3 in matches at that time.. I'm sure some matches were not affected too much, maybe I just got the wrong ones.

Yep, I remember when Darren lost his cool.
But thats pool.

The 14.1 thing I can't remember who was playing but I'm sure longevity played a big part.

So I believe that was about it, huh ?

FYI, I am asking for them to guarantee a final match !

I'll keep you posted on that.

Actually he missed a combo and then let his temper get the best of him... Cost him 1000 and he was in the lead in that 14.1 match when it happened... IF you watched the entire event that particular pocket had been his only nemesis in the event and had not accepted several shots he felt he had struck well earlier in the event...

YES there WILL be the 16th match. Leader vs. player in second place.
Details to be worked out.

Finally we will have Final !!!

Danny Smith and Justin Hall both said they have been invited to this event http://www.accu-stats.com/2015MIH1P.pdf
nice to see two of the young guns get a chance at these events well deserved imo
So that leaves four spots to be voted in Efren R, Alex P and Scott F seem like no brainers to me so who
should get the last spot ?

There are a couple of other players I'd like to see in there, but this should be a lot of good matches.
