88 is a heck of a run. If you can run88 you can run 100.

It's 10 days past the deadline and we still don't know. Is it on, off or in limbo?

Does anyone know the time starts for the daily sessions? I am assuming 11am for the day and 5 for the evening. Is this correct?

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
The four-day Double Round Robin event begins on Saturday, August 10, and concludes on Tuesday, August 13.

Five matches a day are scheduled for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday: 1:30pm, 3:00pm, 7:00pm, 8:30pm and 10:00pm.

Tuesday’s matches: 12 noon, 1:30pm, 3:00pm, 7:00pm, and 8:30pm. A 10:00pm match will also be played on Tuesday if a playoff match is required.

Each match will be played in the Simonis Arena. Each of our contestants will play two matches per day. It will be scheduled in advance, so you will have plenty of notice of who plays, and when.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS ...

Dennis, do you know whether the matches played each day will be "looped" so someone who buys the ppv but can't watch it live on a given day can still see any missed match(es) later that night (or, even better, for some longer period of time)?

When I asked Pat in June, he said he had not decided yet. I just asked him again and will let you know if I find out anything.

Can we expect a live appearance of the Great Walsh in New Jersey? In Astoria?

Gino Machino: Unfortunately, I have to pick my spots and I will be going to the World's in NY, arriving Wednesday the 21st. I'll have to watch this event online.

Today (Thursday, 8/8) is the last day for the Early Bird Special for the ppv for the 14.1 Invitational. Any word on my looping question?

I just resent the email to Pat and cc'd the other people at Accu-stats. I have a feeling Pat is very busy and has not looked at his emails. If I get a response, I will be sure to post it here.

I heard from Pat.

Sorry, but he is not able to do that. They need to use the same equipment after hours for production and cannot do that at this time.

I, myself may not be able to watch all of them live, because of the demands of work and "she who must be obeyed", but I will watch what I can, and study the dvds later.

Thanks for getting the answer, Dennis.

I wish I could have thrown them 300$ to help with all the associated costs involved in making it happen. I can only hope I will find work soon, so when these opportunities come by I can jump on board. I really love watching 14.1, I enjoy playing it even more. But where I live in so cal very few people seem to want to play the game. I think if I had more people to play this wonderful game with more often would break my personal best of 57.
I will be out in NJ/NY on the 21st thru the 2nd and plan on catching the even at Steinway billiards.
Anyone else here going to be out that way? If so I hope I can enjoy some great pool matches, watching the greats run up those high runs.
Cheers friends.

I will see you out there, Felix. I'm coming out there with a guy from Simi Valley, CA that plays straight pool. Not sure how far that is from you.

You have the same high run as me-57.

I did get to commentate on a few matches with J.R. Calvert at the World's a few years back. The Cohen/Lombardo match and the Ortmann/Martin match. I was speaking in tongues but J.R. knew what he was talking about.

Are you talking about who I think you're talking about ????
