Action at Hardtimes

Hey Guys,

Through the grapevine I heard that Hardtimes in Belflower has changed ownership and as a result, everyone that was previously banned is now returning.
Supposedly theres some good action to be found there again.

Not sure if this is true. I havent been there in forever, but I wanted to see if anyone else had heard of this or knows it to be true?

Might have to make a lil trip over to check it out ;)

I know HT is under the new ownership, but haven't been there in a while, so I'm not sure about the crowd.
 
Last time I was there, a player who was previously banned and let back in, got re-banned due to poor sportsmanship.....:D

Does Hawaiian Jimmy still sport the moustache? :D Last time I was there 2004, I had a blast on that glow in the dark balls and table..:eek:

I used to donate to Jimmy Shafer often.He was one of my "teachers".
You know why they call him Hawaiian Jimmy,right?
 
You got it Hard Times has new ownership and the new owner's are real nice.

They also own " 8 Ball Billiards " too. Jose Cerda And I forget his wife's name I meet them up here in Sacramento..

Yes, Jimmy is back and really enjoying it. Moto is also back, much to my delight. A few nights ago he and Elias played some 1 Hole for 50 a game and then had a set for 1K. There is some electricity in the air that has been missing. And of course there seems to always be a 4 or 5 handed golf game going on. On most days during the day you usually have to be there by 1PM or so to get a table in the tournament room.
