The son of the premier table mechanic in the west took on a San Diego player and his "stuck horses" following the Mezz West stop 10 at On Cue Billiards. Local victim jumped with greed and cash when offered THE 3 OUT and giving the break. Great proposition bet. One set later they felt they had been had. 2 sets later, on the way to the door, they KNEW IT.

Who had been had, the son or the local? Break and 3 out is ridiculous. How much dinero?

Thanks for the most uninformed post ever...

If you're going to report on "action", at least explain yourself clearly and give all the details...

"A friend of a friend gave this guy from a place a huge spot on a table, with a gaff pocket. The buddy of the fish said it was a bad game but they lost too, before they left and played the same way as the other time.."

lol.. c'mon folks.

Lol! Adam is always the voice of reason.

I also heard that he gave the 3, got the breaks and ball in hand,

That actually makes a lot more sense with BIH, thank you. If it was the Big O. then it was a lock unless he dogged his brains out. Anybody know how much?

Spot on. I am glad I am not the only one that had a tough time figuring out the plot and characters here.:confused::confused::confused:

Oscar was giving the 3 out, but getting all the breaks, $100 a set. He won 11-8 and then 11-3 against James Cabal.

I nominate Chris to take over as OP of this thread.

The OP said there were 'stuck horses' == meaning multiple people put up the money for loser of $100 a set action

So the army of backers must be out $40-$50 a piece. OUCH! Tough to win when you're playing with scared money.

OK, even with just all the breaks and no ball in hand giving that spot would not be tough for Oscar against B talent.

You can just lock it down to where it just doesn't matter. If you don't sell out and they can't run 3-4 balls, you can't lose.

I've played guys my speed (just under shortstop, unless I'm dead on) getting all the breaks and giving up the last 3 or 4. all the breaks is a lot if you are a runout player. You beat the ghost, you beat the player. Giving a ball spot does not change that.
