Hey, Keith not sure the builder did it. I will say it's nice having it insulated down there I ran some HVAC and it holds the temp pretty good.

Yeah, I still might. I always disliked the wall mounted look I prefer the tv stand but this tv is one solid piece of glass pretty much so I may end up doing that just to be safe.

Glad you are considering it. I too once had all TV's in cabinets (that closed and hid the TV when not in use) but last year went all flat panel TV's from 43" to 60" and wall mounted. WAY nicer. I have a 60" in my pool room and adjusting it to watch while on the couch or turning it toward the pool table pool or even turning to face a large window out back facing a patio has been awesome convenient.

Love the setup. And the padded walls. They are helpful after a missed shot and raging . I have a year or two for my pool room reno but i will conisder similar walls now.
