I read Marop mention tickets to get in to the NJ tourney. First I heard of this. Can someone elaborate on this. Do I contact the poolroom? Whats the scoop? :)
 
Hmm.... 42 views of this thread and not a one reply. Either I have bad breath or everyone else is as clueless as I am. :scratchhead: Where do we get these tickets to get in? I didn't see anything on the Dragon Promotion site, perhaps I missed it. Link anyone? thank you ...

A flyer Charlie sent to me along with the qualifier flyers states as follows:

Ticket Prices

Daily Admission
October 6-10
A.M. $15
P.M. $15

Semi-Finals
October 11
All Day $35

It does not say where to get them but I bet if you sent an email to

dp.sally@gmail.com, dp.suzie@gmail, and dragonpromotions@gmail.com, and told them you wanted to buy tickets, you might get a response.

For what it's worth, I attended last year and most people were paying at the door.

Thanks guys ... :) I just didn't want to run into a situation where there is an option for reserved seating and I didn't learn of it in time. these old pins of mine won't hold up standing all day. :)
 
I just learned that the room will be closed to any extra play during the entire tourney, so it seems most likely there will never be an opportunity to knock em around at all should anyone get an itch to play.

There are other pool rooms nearby if a severe pool jones sets in.

Never been there yet, but it's a nice, respectable room. And Sandman is a fellow AZer. It may be a good idea for Sandcastle to have a few mini straight tournaments through the weekend and take advantage of all the 14.1 addicts in town.

Pete Mizerak and I just started up a weekly Sunday afternoon 14.1 Straight Pool tournament. FREE practice starts @ Noon and matches begin @ 1pm. Details are as follows below.....
