Beautiful South West! Smart to order all the extras too!
Thanks for sharing

Nice Cue But......

Don't care whom the cue-maker is.......what the cue is......what the price is.....that's just too long to wait for anything when there are so many other options........However, as long as you're happy, enjoy and celebrate your handsome new cue.

South West

Thanks for the kind words and compliments. To help some people with the wait time Laurie told me the cue would take 6 1/2 years when I ordered it from her. I too am amazed how long it actually took. I will find out tonight if it was worth the wait.

Ya should have stopped at "Nice Cue" Matt.... You may find that many shorter "options" couldn't make a cue that nice if they had 12 years to do it...

Skins ---------------- knows the reasons for waiting....

You will find out it was worth the wait... Guaranteed...:)

Very Nice Cue

I've played with many southwests.. none of them our worth waiting 11 years for lol good lord I don't like waiting 5 days for a cue to be sent by mail. you are a patient man and that is a beauty . :)

As I've ordered mine in her office in the summer of 2005, thank you for letting
me know I still have over a year to decide on wood, ring, veneer options....

I like the idea of the jp's done at the Southwest shop.

Congratulations! This is a great looking SW. I love the detailing of this cue. They play exceptionally well. Enjoy.

Think About It......

Over 600 weeks......think seriously about that timeframe .......it's equivalent to 4yrs of high school, 4 years of college and a Masters Degree.

In my opinion, no cue-maker that's ever lived is so talented to warrant indulging more than a decade of waiting for just a pool cue.

Everything about that SW cue is.......beautiful !! Congrats on making it through the wait. The results are tremendous. :)

I'm just ahead of you...lol. I ordered mine in April 2005.
Guess I still have to wait awhile, too. Hard to believe
it's been almost 10 years. Hopefully ebony will be
available when our names come up. Ebony/Tulipwood
is a South West worth waiting for IMO.

Congrats OP, that is a great looking South West and
as great as it looks, it'll play even better.

Matt, you're almost making the opposite point you're trying
to make here...lol. After all of this, one may be able to afford
a South West for the 1st time. If a guy ordered it in high school
and then 10-12 years later after receiving his degree, he'd have
a good paying job(hypothetically) and then be able to afford
the cue(s).

Not to disagree, but IMO there are cues and cue makers out
there that are worth waiting a decade or more to get the cue.
I'd love to get a call from Dennis 10 years from now telling me
that my name is up and he's starting my cue.
