Here are pictures of the cue that I ordered in person at the South West shop on Easter Monday of 2003 that arrived today. Pin number is 387-14.

Don't care whom the cue-maker is.......what the cue is......what the price is.....that's just too long to wait for anything when there are so many other options........However, as long as you're happy, enjoy and celebrate your handsome new cue.

Thanks for the kind words and compliments. To help some people with the wait time Laurie told me the cue would take 6 1/2 years when I ordered it from her. I too am amazed how long it actually took. I will find out tonight if it was worth the wait.
As I've ordered mine in her office in the summer of 2005, thank you for letting
me know I still have over a year to decide on wood, ring, veneer options....
I like the idea of the jp's done at the Southwest shop.
Over 600 weeks......think seriously about that timeframe .......it's equivalent to 4yrs of high school, 4 years of college and a Masters Degree.
In my opinion, no cue-maker that's ever lived is so talented to warrant indulging more than a decade of waiting for just a pool cue.
