Age of a Hubler???

I was given a Huebler cue today , it has no shaft just the butt. The cue has 4 color points, orange, green, blue, black...checkerd rings at the joint and butt cap....the cue says " cue by Huebler made in the USA " when did they stop using this ID and switch to Huebler made in usa.....model and value would be nice......also what kind of wood, looks like cocobola maybe.......thanks OTB

Looks like an AS-H8 to me, I have the same cue without the stitch rings
probably worth a couple hundred.....

I'm thinking as-h 6 the 7 and 8 had inlays in the butt sleeve and the 8 had them in the points also

The Cue by Huebler Logo was used from July 1986 to June 1993.

According to the name stamp on the bumper the cue was made in the 1980's, they switched to the current logo in the early 1990's.

I looked on facebook at poolcrazy's photos and he has one in a brochure that looks just like it. It looks like it's a H-J and the description says, "A delightful splash of color here, in a four point front with black blue green and red over mexican rosewood points". Sold for 180.00 in 1986.
