Alex & SVB Score Thread

All Alex has to do is go on another run like he did earlier and Shane's lead would be gone.

Everyone is talking about who would be the best matchup for Shane, in 10-ball, I think you're looking at one of 3 people who would do just that. The other two being Bustie and Ronnie. I actually think Shane would be the underdog in both those matches, though I would be pulling for Shane the whole time.

I can't believe I forgot about Bustie! Cmon TAR you would sell tons for a SVB vs Bustamonte match. Two world class breakers going at it...

Rack number 160 Alex to break 2 and 8 goes in, alex has the one ball, but misses the shot , problem in the rack is 5 6 10 is tied up, SVB gets the turn now pots the 1 - 3 - 4 tries to play a 5 ten combo but misses and now alex is back and plays a very good safe, SVB tries 2 rail shot misses and now alex is left with a moderately easy rack pots 5 - 6 - 7 - 9- 10 to win 85 - 75

keep it down. Shane has not reach that status yet. he has a massive break but he ain't the 10-ball king. it would be really disappointing if Shane will fall short of your expectations. you might as well get blamed and ridiculed if Shane will never become number 1. :D :D :D

I know you are joking about the second half of that thread but didn't he win the World 10 ball championship? I might be wrong. If I am then who IS the reigning 10 ball king if Shane isn't there?

Is Shane shooting with that Diveny Tuxedo cue in this match? My instructor is thinking about buying one.

just messin with yah ! :D but seriously, just keep it down. Shane is still fresh and certainly we want him to succeed in the long run. building him up too much at this early stage of his still blossoming career might produce a negative consequence, like not being able to dominate as the previous american champions did.

Rack number 161 alex to break nothing on the break, 1 and 3 is tied up, SVB goes for a safe but leaves a edge for alex, alex tries fr safe and leaves no shot but the 1 is avaliable to hit... SVB also flops on the safe gives a tough shot to alex, both theses guys are playin safe but both are leaving small edges, Alex gets a shot pots the 1 and gets beautiful position on the 2 - 3 - 4 - 5- 6- 7- 8- 9- 10 to win 85 - 76

Alex is singing Bohemian rhapsody as he runs out...

lol You have a long list of people to tell to quiet down. I'm not superstitious about jinxing someone. Never have been superstitious but it's all good if other people are.

Rack number 162 Alex to break, 2 ball goes on the break and has got well on the 1, problem ball is 5 is close to the rail with the 9 next to it. alex pots 1 - 3- 4 - 5- 6- 7- 8- 9 - 10 to win 85 - 77

:D That is Alex for you. Who else do you know who can joke around when he is still on the losing end. I would not be surprised if SVB takes out his hearing aid (joke).

Shane is still far away from the achievements of past american greats. until he reaches certain distinction, I will have my reservations. he got great potential, but it's a matter of how he uses it and it takes a person time before he deserves such recognition. is Shane a HOF? I believe not. so that argument speaks for itself. wait for it to come and hope that you dont jinx him.
