Alex & SVB Score Thread

Rack number 163 alex to break 3 balls on the break (2,4,7 on the break) pots 1 - 3- 5- 6- 8- 9 - 10 to win 85 78, lion's really working hard to win ....

Who said anything about the Hall of Fame??? I think it's okay for people to discuss who is the best current 10ball player. Especially with this new TAR format.
 
Rack number 164 alex to break, 7 ball goes on the break, no clear shot on the 1 opts a push out, SVB has no interest and asks alex to come back, tires to bank it misses and leaves no clear shot to SVB, SCB plays a good safe, sorry dont know what happened the feed was droped and alex is left with 8 - 9 - 10 and wins 85 - 79 and they go for a break
 
From 15 down and now just to 6. That was a nice comeback for the Lion. Now the question is will he still have the momentum after the break. I like Pagulayan's never say die attittude. Hope he wins but if SVB does, then it is ok for me too. These 2 are both champions in my book!!!
 
Would they have a pre-set break time, say like every hour and a half or something? Or just see how each player is going?

I would imagine that you dont want to show that you're tired to the other player and request a break, having them think its a sign of weakness..... or am I way off here?

I am thinking it was Shane who requested the break. I would too if I were in his shoes.

Ive used the bathroom break before but I always gave a rack's notice in advance. Good strategy!
 
Rack number 165 alex to break, ohhh scratch on the break (side pocket)... plus point for alex 6and 7 is tied up... 3( ball is gone in the break). SVB thinks for a while goes for the 1 - 2- 4 - 5 and opts for a saftey on the 6 (sticks it behind the 7) alex get lucky and hits the 6, SVB plays a good safe again, ALex plays a 2 rail and hits the 6 and leaves a safe for SVB, SVB plays a safe again... Alex misses a 2 rail kick and gives ball in hand to SVB... Clears it 6 - 7- 8 opts for a bank on the 9 misses and leave a moderately difficult shot for alex, alex misses the 9 but leaves no shot for SVB, SVB tries to feather it but flops it leave an easy shot for alex 9 - 10 deposited to win 85 - 80
