Alex is a consumate professional and I never thought at all that he would be mentally beat down. I know some people thought that but I sure didn't. I thought Shane played better and just beat him but I didn't think Shane was in Alex's head at all. Alex knows he can beat anyone at anytime. So it does not surprise me at all that they played again and Alex won. My honest opinion is that I don't know if you can get much closer of a match than these two combatants. They are both tremendous players who can beat the other one at anytime. All I can say is I cannot wait to purchase the Action Challenge between these two because you got that right when you say it is going to be Epic because it is going to be a flat out WAR! I just can't wait! Thank you for giving me the opportunity to witness it TAR thats all gotta say.

I remember hearing Alex barking at Shane asking him what tournaments he had planned... He said he was going to follow him everywhere he went. Sounds like he wasn't joking! haha. Surprised they played such short sets.

Good for Alex

Glad to hear the "Killer Pixie" is back on track.

Surely people couldn't think that Alex got broke down mentally when he played Shane at DCC Come on, there were only 7 games difference in all three sets... Shows a lot of heart for Alex.

I agree, the race to 100 will be a challenge for both.

Did someone really think alex was mentally beaten?

Anyway, I'd still go with Shane on race-to-100.

I believe Alex could beat him if he would play his A-game, but I'm not sure he'll be able to bring that. Let's see..

I watched the last 2 sets and was VERY impressed with BOTH guys! Alex showed a different side at times being very serious, but as far as either of them being in eachothers head?...nah, thats silly! these 2 guys know thier games and what they are capable of and I don't think they rattle. Maybe fatigue set in? we saw some of that from both guys during the week.

Alex has been playing and gambling his whole life. He knows how to win just like Shane does!

Like Nasty said it's gonna be a hell of a race to 100!

Seems to me that the score is now 86 to 83 Alex.

21-20
25-22
25-22
06-11
06-11

83-86.

This is the match I wanted to see for a long time.

Let Shane keep playing around with Alex and see who gets the cash. If they played ALL games, it would not take very much time at all.

I think they have been playing $5000.00 a setmostly races to 21....as you know things change from time to time..

I really hope Shane will win the race-to-100, so we can without too much mumbling start to wait for the Shane - Orcullo match..

Heh, okey, sorry, first things first..

....and all this time I've been waiting for the SVB vs Bustamante match. Is it Orcullo that we should be wanting to see ? Anyway, I want to see 'em all and I'm ready to pay TAR or anyone else who provides them. Go TAR !!! After seeing the last two match between SVB and Alex from DCC, I sure wish I could have seen the rematch...Tom
