The name means nothing nor the logo if you cant deliver a great product,if this break cue is top notch then the name and logo will just be the tip of the iceberg. ;)

If he calls it Brianna Breaker then people will know its by Brianna,his name is right on it,lol,no need to put "by Brianna",I do think Double Break is good too since its going to double not just as a break cue but a jump cue also. :)

well as of now the only one out that is the one i sent out to the winner
anyone can ask him his opinion or just wait and try one when they become available these are not made overseas like someone suggested i can make small runs 15 to 20 per month idont have any production size shop . i feel there very good value and preform very well thanks agin for te suggestion happy new year
 
Just me but I thought the purpose of this was to find a name that was original and imaginative...but both EX-Breaker and Brianna Breaker just don't strike me as either...pretty sure if Ford had a new car coming out and said to one of their think tanks..we need a name for our new electric car and they came back with "electric car by Ford" or "X-electric car" they'd all be fired

Since the other thread was locked I would like to re-iterate that Lee did ship the prize to me and I received it on Christmas Eve, as promised. I also stated in the other thread that given the controversy around the selection of the name I would be finding the jump/break cue a new home. I think I have just figured out what to do.

I am going to donate the cue to OTR and Fast Lenny. Why? Because he is in a good position to get it in the hands of a lot of players as well as secure and share feedback with the OTR viewers and AZB community.

I should add that I do not know Lenny... we have not spoken or met. But I respect what he is doing at OTR as I do the guys at TAR and others who are working hard to bring great pool into our homes. Hopefully this can help in some small way.

Wow!I am blown away by your generosity and I thank you very much for this gesture.We have never met which is the beauty of it all and I will be certain to have people try it out on the live stream and give feedback on it.I probably could have 50 people try it out,give their rating on a scale of 1-10 on breaking and jumping along with construction and compile all the numbers to see where it stands.Then perhaps do a raffle of some sorts to go towards equipment when the review is complete. :)

I would have to disagree with you. Firstly, the name "Brianna Breaker" conjures an image of "breaking Brianna", which IMO really makes no sense. :shrug: Also, as Lee said on page 2 post 29:

I agree with doctorb98, the name "Brianna Breaker" just doesn't "grab" me. Think of the names for jump/break cues out there already:

Stinger (McDermott)
Sledgehammer (and the Sledgehammer II) (McDermott)
Heartbreaker (McDermott)
Thumper
BK2 (Predator)
Kaiser
etc... (You can see the names of pretty much every jump/break cue out there by looking at the platinumbilliards.com break rating)

Those names "grab" you, IMO. But, that's just me.

I think good idea would be to return the cue to lee as the contest has been nullified.
Or ship it to person whose name lee choses now, of course at his cost.

I think it would be inappropriate to keep the cue or give it to anyone for free as he is not using the name u suggested because of the strong opposition of the az community

Just my 2 cents

First off.. I don't believe there was ANYTHING in that thread that would have caused a mod to close the thread. That thread was closed due to a request by the author, who royally screwed the pooch. I don't think there is anyone here stupid enough to believe otherwise.

i dont see why there is no reason the mods can go through and delete every post except the suggestions and lock the thread and restore it.. i think that would be the best route
