your terminology is ridiculous. Before making up a word for something check to see if it already exists. why in the hell would you call a jump shot an "air-to-ground shot"? It's a jump shot not a missile.

Its intentional, it has to be. Everything has different terminology, and different methodologies. Nobody is that stupid that has ever been around pool. Its actually very well done if you think of it in that context. Unfortunately, he is just some immature gnat who is looking to argue with everyone on here about it. Good riddance!

I think you are right, it's on purpose just to be a troll. Scary thing is that anyone willing to go to that much effort for that purpose is seriously deranged.

To "poolkillers" when you create a new account to skirt the ban next time, why don't you use "deadhorse" as a user name? That seems appropriate...

:deadhorse:

C'mon guys. Its pretty funny. Its like he wrote every single term the way it would irritate any serious player. I think whoever it is is Canadian or European as they use the term "potting" balls. It seems to be his only correct terminology. Not a lot of folks in the US use that term. I've heard people from the far Northern US use that but they're closer to Canada than us anyway. :)

So this dude got banned again? Guess I missed that while I was practicing my AGS, shooting modes, and counter strategies.

First no-one "refuses" to play by the real rules and tactics and styles, they just don't know about them, or care to learn because they play once a month on crappy tables half-drunk. The stance, mechanics of how to hit the cueball to make a shot properly, things like that, do not change no matter what the rules of the game are. The info for that in your "guide" is horrible, wrong and is just compiling what you saw bad players do. If someone posted "I am a bad player, I don't want to get better and I only play with other bad players, can someone help me?", then you can feel free to post in that thread and no-one will argue that your methods will not make a bad player continue to be bad.

You make up your own terms for things that already have names and then use them in your posts like it's common knowledge like two kids inventing their own language so they can giggle at their parents when they don't understand what they are saying. "Look Billy, poor dad does not know what a globbledonger is, he is such an idiot!" When you took your driving lesson, did you try to teach the instructor that you will use the stompers in LG5 and LG-1 power levels to go forward and stop and that the roundagrandile will be used to move the machine leftingle and rightngle? Please explain how the stuff you made up is any different than this.

You pointing to the "guide" as a solution to questions people ask has about as much backing as me writing down that the sky is pink with orange dots and then showing that to people that disagree.

because if people want to use BCA rules, they already have thousands of books and manuals they can learn from. making one more guide on that subject wouldn't change anything. We offered people something different. If they refuse to play by official rules (which most of them do), they can use this upgraded, most balanced variant of public rules. What we made up was just a few minor changes which don't allow the players to abuse some gaps in most public rules.

That neverending situation you're talking about, TS after TS (tell me you know what TS is :rotflmao1:), also has a solution described in the guide. I noticed most of you tend to critisize different aspects of play presented in our manual before reading all about them. Pretty much every question you asked so far has a well-explained answer in the guide itself.

If you actually read my post, you would notice "Check under "strategies and play styles"". On the front page there's a table of content. It's the final chapter, right before the "conclusion". You shouldn't have troubles finding it

Where's the like button when you need it?

the sky is pink with orange dots

Whew! I thought I was the only one who noticed that.

PS: As far as "potting" balls, it's a snooker term but we do have quite a few of those. Players will say things like, "side", instead of, "English".

We do have drunken bangers here though aswell. They are easy to spot as they say weird crap like, "oot'n'aboot".

Well, I thought the graphics were ok, the overall look and navigation was good.

And that's pretty much all I can say on the good side.

To be honest, after I read this I came away with the feeling that your knowledge of pool was minimal at best. Aside from the terminology that you used, some of your information was just flat out wrong.

I just don't think you have the experience/knowledge yet that is needed for something like this.

Good luck to you.
