That is one I’ve never heard before crazy enough but makes sense.Best aiming advice I ever got was from Allison.
Find the spot on the object ball that is farthest from the pocket.
Think about it.

Didn't know about this, belay my last then.Thank EscaladeSports, their new owners. Its ES's bankroll that's allowing B'wick to do this.
Interesting.
Shame Brunswick sold their billiards interests. I always wondered what could have been if Brunswick, the Fortune 500 Company, had decided to take a small allocation of its profits, make a far superior product, and undercut and bankrupt all the competition.
AF is a Mezz staff player. Will she be shooting with a Willie Hoppie now?
JK very happy for her
Oscar is very well known and respected world over, and his table mechanic experience means a lot in this context.
I think Oscar is going to do what is best for the business.Just out of curiosity, does this bring any possibility that Hard Times might swap out their Diamonds for Brunswicks?
Oscar is pretty business savvy. Wouldn't surprise me if he puts them in and is a WestCoast dealer for them.I think Oscar is going to do what is best for the business.
You still need to know what part of the cue ball to hit that furthest spot with. Allison left out the other half to that equation. You shoulda stuck around longer. That is one I’ve never heard before crazy enough but makes sense.
That could never have happened in the current corporate culture. Billiards was down around 1% of total revenue. For years they made crap tables and sold them as premium for premium prices. You propose that they make a quality product and sell it for less? The CFO would have organized the lynch party. There was no "Brunswick" left in Brunswick.Interesting.

But if you go to the Brunswick Billiards website instead of the Brunswick Corporation website, you can still find the historical information and the searchable Brunswick Library. Just go to the bottom of the website and click on "Our History." https://www.brunswickbilliards.com/... Billiards would have never done well there in the modern times. The only reason they kept it as long as they did, was for the name. If you go to their website now, it does not even have a history section (that I could find). Zero mention of their origins. I guess that makes sense, since the company is now only boats. ...
Well fortunately after 30 years I play pretty good and don’t need it lol but for a new player it can give them a good idea where to aim.You still need to know what part of the cue ball to hit that furthest spot with. Allison left out the other half to that equation. You shoulda stuck around longer.![]()
It is good that current owners of the brand think the history is important. But if you go to the Brunswick Billiards website instead of the Brunswick Corporation website, you can still find the historical information and the searchable Brunswick Library.
