Monica kicks two rails and hits the five but leaves Chang an easy shot in the side. Routine from here. Daisy comes up a little short on the nine but she nails it. The Taiwanese women cut balls down the rail with ease.

Monica is looking at a trickly path to the five. No good she comes up on the wrong side of it and now must look for a safety or a low percentage attempt. And she goes for the out-of-line combination down the rail and not only misses it but scratches in the side. Daisy Chang has ball in hand with five open balls left. Daisy dogs the six ball!!!

Monica WAY OVERHITS the six in the side and comes out two rails and scratches in teh corner. It's over.

Taiwan has 7 players, not 14. Japan also has 7.

Karen Corr beat Ga Young Kim 9-3 in one of the quarterfinals. Karen will face the winner of Allison and Gerda in the semis. Allison is up 2-0 at the moment.

Allison was up 8-1 at one point but ends up beating Gerda 9-6!

Allison Fisher will play Karen Corr in Semi #2.

Semi #1 is C.Y. Chao vs. S.H. Chang.

My fingers are crossed. Karen Corr has reached the double hill rack of the world championships twice already in her career. Each time she came up short. Hoping today is her day!
