Here's an nice little illusion, un trompe l'oeil de la grisaille as the French would say. Despite what our eyes tell us, the squares marked B and A are exactly the same shade of grey.

It's neat that you can actually see the reverse A in the reflection.....
...at first glance, it looks like a half-assed soccer ball.


But I wish these guys would show match balls when they use pool artifacts....
....what the hell, they don't use drug store golf balls in their artwork.
 
Oh great another blue dress controversy. The A and R squares are the same colour. That is a attempt to acknowledge others, they know who they are.
 
I drew the pool ball illusion myself, but its inspiration must go to Edward Adelson, professor of vision science at MIT.

Here's easy to see proof... I dragged a chuck of A into B.
