Andrew Cleary Az U.S Open

This is going to be one of the biggest hustles in the history of pool. Cleary is just laying low. He is going to snap off the next World Championship, when everyone had him written off.

I just hope that he would be so kind to remember and to give me an opportunity to get a piece of his future actions.

WOW ... here is an endorsement to stake a player! :barf:

I guess my translation to this is ... "Hey, I don't give a F*ck it's not my money!" Or am I missing something here?

No, you are not something - you are missing everything . Lighten up

He did better than I thought he would.... he showed up for one out of two matches!!
Like Cleary said, everyone knew he was dead money from the gitgo. Looks like he had a good time.

So fresh and so clean...

I really don't want to be a gossip hound but word on the street is that there may be much more to the drunken stupor/forfeited match story than we've been led to believe.

Rumors are swirling that a certain down-on-his-luck, Brettish, err, sorry, I mean British pool playa was spotted at the world-famous Vegas landmark, 'Little White Wedding Chapel' and guess who was standing at his side?

Here's a hint:

Someone was looking mighty citrulicious in his orange attire. :yikes:

Despite their best efforts to keep it hush-hush, what happens in Vegas doesn't always get to stay there.

toodles,

Look. Ill make this right. The us open 9ball is coming up. All my investors can invest again. After a few tournaments I'm bound to get everyone even. Let's do this!

Im in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How far over your head did my post go??? You're missing the point ... I had ZERO invested and the cavalier post of "I missed my match" (why because you got drunk) when he owed a responsibility to his "investors" says to me I would never stake anyone so irresponsible. Jeez, Louise. How anyone can justify this kind of action is beyond me. Oh, I guess I'm used to dealing with responsible adults. My bad!! :p

It is not your post that went over our heads, but the whole "Let's put Cleary in the US Open" thing that went over yours.

FTR I had 1% of Cleary and if had not even gone to the Open and blew the $500 on a swell night on the
town I would have been fine with that, because it was a more of a joke then anything else and I understood it to be just that.

Now with him showing up in my national colour, heck I might have to send him $5 more.

I think it was more of a commentary on the outing than on the fact that you actually had zero invested. Something that is fun is not perhaps as serious as you are taking Cleary's perceived cavalier attitude. Cleary gives a lot to of time to pool and he also had some of his own action. Many a greater player than Cleary has been staked and missed a match. Life will go on.

This ^^^

Here's to hoping Cleary does indeed do The US 9-ball Open. I'll have to save my pennies so I can get a piece of that action :p

Orange is the new black.

I dont know Cleary from Adam, but I like his style. Something tells me that even without dayglo clothes, people know when he's around.

Cleary is the man that brought us JB topless...isn't that worth all this current entertainment investment?

If there was an actual Episode 1, I could not find it, sorry. But these are pretty fun to revisit. Thanks, Cleary (and your Rickie Fowler outfit)!

is Cleary the guy in orange? if so, I can paypal some money for new clothes...

I'm not sure..but I'd say his out fit was part of the deal..I not sure if even Earl would wear those colors..with those neat kickers.

I want to see some vids of this drunken binge or it didn't happen.

Push-up competitions, lap dances, drunken black jack, etc. Something to put this to rest and let investors know it was money will spent in Sin City!

Did anyone get a pic of Cleary in his outfit? I'd love to see what made the cut.
