Another Cure For Your Stroke - FWIW

"I challenge anyone to go back to a regular cue after using the tricue"

challenged accepted. What can we bet?

Might not be a "bad" idea. You could try it out by using an old house cue and sanding it down. Hmmm, might just try it to see what happens.

What would happen to a Predator or and OB cue if you sanded -- disaster waiting to happen.

I can see where some od arthritic hands might benefit from this type of cue.

I cant stand it, i watched that video again and that guy the "pitchman" might have spent 6 months playing pool, he clearly knows ZERO about pool, he is a banger at best. I think what happened is someone came up with this "Radical new product" and raised a pile of $$$ and somewhere along the line screwed some one out of a pile of $$, Something just isnt Kosher here. This is the absolute worst idea ever, ever. The nodal points on the cue would be a mess(who knows where they would be?) the deflection would be worse than a steal pipe. God forbid you got a ding, it would be stiffer than a wedding dick, i mean the list goes on and on, i'm all for innovation but this is like taking wheels and saying "we found a better solution than those round ones". there is zero benefit with this thing, i actually feel bad for the pitch man, he believe's in it.

Round cues suck!!! that should be their motto.

Back in 83 they someone was pitching " Glass shaved triangular shafts".
Remember a sales pitch at Miller Lite World Series trnmnt.
Anyone else recall this?

i do remember liquid wick shafts tho.

I kinda like it, at least it should draw attention to where it should be, the stroke.
the stroke makes the shot.

No fair. You cut the quote short. After what you quoted, he completed his sentence with (I think): "and being as consistent in their shots and as accurate in their game."

Still want to bet?:)

It is a LD shaft because of all that wood that was carved off on 3 sides....lower mass.

I'm not so sure. The triangular shape ends a few inches from the tip, and the shaft looks to be round thereafter. So these shafts might be rather "normal" with respect to endmass, which is the key determinant of squirt.

But I suppose one could make one of these shafts LD by also doing the standard things like shortening the ferrule, using a lightweight material for the ferrule, hollowing out the last few inches of the shaft, turning it to a small diameter, etc.

To their credit, I didn't see any balls missed in the shot videos. :)

However, I did see a bunch of lifting up, loose bridges, and pulling off to the side. :(

BTW, SVB rotates the cue radially, as do most players that I've watched and videotaped. Most are not aware that they do it until they see the video.
