Another Dale Perry

Burn all jump cues

I just got another Dale Perry cue an hour ago. I ordered it yesterday and UPS had it at my door 24 hrs and 4 minutes later. Price was $148 no shipping & handling. Cue is 21 oz. and plays like a 19 oz it's so well balanced. I ran the first two racks of 10-ball on my Valley and quit. I don't run too many 2-packs of 10-ball, so I didn't want to wear the luck out of it in the 1st few hours. Johnnyt

Yeah, they're about as nice as you can get for the money. I bought one about a month ago myself. Shoots very good! Good shooting!!!

I don't understand all the trash talk about his cues.

He undercut the people selling his cues by placing his cues on ebay without any notification. So all dealers were forced to sell them a lot cheaper than what they paid for them. For the money it is a decent cue but his business practices are what got his cues tarnished in value. Granted he does very well on ebay his cues are not valued highly on the forum. Hope that clears it up!

I bought one on E-bay about 2 months ago for $170. It plays really well and I like it. Thinking of sending it to Mueller's to have either a embossed snake or lizard leather wrap installed (I can't decide which - any input would be appreciated). Regardless of what some of the people on this forum think, it's a quality cue at a very excellent price. Good luck with your new cue Johnny.

Thank you Pete, and you with yours. Johnnyt

I got one about a month ago and I love it too.....it plays phenomenal.

This is the 3rd one I bought from him. Althogh they all feel good and hit solid, this one I just got feels like that old pair of jeans you've had for years...like the thing was made just to fit you. Johnnyt

DP's can't be beat

I'm telling ya for the dough the only thing I would put up against a dp is a Lucasi and the big difference there is you can buy a DP 1 off for the same price as a production cue from China. Hmmmmm think about that.

Ps

As for the whole dealer/to ebay thing. Why be pissed cuz he thought of it. He's making a living doing something he loves and is getting paid and putting out a great product. It could have been any cue maker.

Ive got a DP

and i love it. His cues do not deserve the rep they get on here..he on the other hand..i dont know. I get tired ofthe anti DP rants, then when some other cue maker is a jerk, its OK :( becasue they are part of az.

I just bought the wife another DP. Purpleheart with ebony points and turquoise inlays. People seem to like turquoise and I think I was lucky to get it for the price I did. My wife wanted that one real bad, so I added a few points on that deal.
As far as dealing with Dale goes, I've spoke with him several times on the phone re transactions and its always been pleasant.
It doesn't seem to matter which of the DPs we use, they all seem to shoot
amazingly consistent.

i have 3 dale perrys ,best bang for the buck on a american made cue period.nothing else even close
