I feel a little insulted by the 'good opponent' comments. JB is doing such a splendid job of knocking himself out I can barely be arsed to put the gloves on, let alone lacing them up and giving him the walloping he's begging for.

Huh?! No, that could not be anywhere. Try getting into a cab in Oakland drunk and being accidentally dropped off in the worst neighborhood at 3am. You're done.

The mafia in Thailand makes money, but there is just a whole different aura there. I used quotes because in Thailand the "mafia" isn't really a Mafia like we westerners know them. Same goes with the "gangs." Forgive the ambiguity.

If I had to make my point in a sentence (and a half), it's simply that in Thailand if you don't give in to some obviously dodgey scam involving you making large quantities of money from buying rare gems, or you keep you money fairly deep in your pocket, you'll be perfectly fine -- even if you stumble into the worst neighborhood in Bangkok. Not true in other countries.

Anyway, those stats you posted are misleading. But continue on :confused:
