Another Deano Cue review

To all concerned, I will have one of Deans cues in my Possession early this coming week. I will post a fair and a very unbiased review around the end of this month. I have already chosen three local A-players who frequent my pool room here in Lakewood. Each will have the chance to use the cue for a couple of days, and then each gentleman will write a review concerning the Hit, Balance, and overall playability of the cue. My remarks will be directed to the construction, fit of the components, and materials used.

I think this is the least I can do, to show Dean I am sorry for my involvment in the derailment of this thread. I would hope others who were involved would take similar steps to atone for their individual actions.

Have a great Night Dean!!!!:)

Before we disengage I was curious, are you a republican?;)

Geez, I've never had any beefs with you, but that was the most inane comment I've seen in a thread in a LONG time. The non-pool discussion area had degenerated into such a pile of garbage over politics, becoming a congregation area for the village forum idiots, that I only visit it now by accident (when an errant search lands me there).

Please don't bring that crap to the billiards discussion forums.

I do not know for certain, to me political parties are a generalization. I can support any man or women of any race if they meet the following criteria:

1. Protect and serve the National and Global interests of our people and our Nation.
2. Defend our people against all threats National and Global.
3. Ensures our way of life will continue for future Generations.
4. Places 1,2,3 above their own personal interests and financial gains.

Like I said above, I do not want much,:D but I will follow any party with a Leader that uses the outlined principles above as a moral foundation for thier Presidency.;)

I think you have just summarized the Communist Manifesto.

No communists, have a very simple Manifesto, ME, Myself and I!!!;)
You could say the same about capitalism, the rich get rich and the poor get poorer is true, the gap between them just keeps growing.

Sir,

I think that you have formed the wrong ideas about communists and communism.

Here is a good place to start in order to learn exactly what it is that you would like to criticize.

http://www.anu.edu.au/polsci/marx/classics/manifesto.html

I am not for or against communism per se and my actions certainly are not communist in any sense of the word.

Once you do understand it then you will understand how very near to the communist ideology that these words of yours are,

"1. Protect and serve the National and Global interests of our people and our Nation.
2. Defend our people against all threats National and Global.
3. Ensures our way of life will continue for future Generations.
4. Places 1,2,3 above their own personal interests and financial gains."

I do however understand what a communist ideology is and I suggest you invest some time to do the same.

My issue with communism is that those in control can unilaterally divert any and virtually all their GNP against us in a war of annilation without checks and balances.

It's late in the CTZ so I'm going to crash. Let's continue tomorrow via PM or we can start a thread in NPR...

True. However in a capitalist society there always exists the possibility for any poor man to become a rich one, and quite a few rich ones end up poor.

It is impossible for every one to be financially equal as everyone who is able to does not contribute equally. Those that do more should earn more and the do.

I recommend to the whole board that they get off the keyboard and get a copy of Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. This book will enlighten anyone who reads it as to the true cost of suppressing capitalism.

There isnt many checks and balances in our governement either,if you think there is then you have fallen into their deception.

I don't go to the NPR section but I do listen to NPR radio. :-)

Any country can use their GNP as a weapon. When the US subsides domestic production to lower the prices then it hurts other nations as their similar goods become to costly to import into the USA and they are faced with cheap US exports in their country.

So it's a bit one sided to say that they aren't allowed to do what we do.

John, I have seen first hand how Communists, achieve their goals. I have spent half my life dealing with communist insurgents on three separate continents. I have seen the effects of these Governments on their people, I have seen the poverty, the prisons, and I have seen death and none of the things I have seen were for the people. The global forms of communism that existed for the last hundred plus years have done none of the things I outlined.

John, I do not need to read anything about communism, all I need to know I have seen first hand. If I want propaganda I can listen to the minutes from the UN or I can listen to you!!!!!!!

I think the difference between me and you is simple. You read about the effects, and I have seen the effects. With that said, there is no better place on the planet to be than right here in the good old USA!!!!!!!;)

There is alot of poverty in the US,this country has more prisons then any other country i believe. No country is perfect and neither is any system, there will always be people who dont like it.

So how do you propose to fight communism? With guns or opportunity?
