Another Deano Cue review

Havent read all the back and forth banter lately...just wanted to say I went to the local pool hall tonight..looking for a perticulular individual to let him try out the Deano cue. This guy is considered an A player. we rank the handicap tournaments from about a 1-15 . A "1" is self explanatory a 15 would be Archer... Mike Fuller a local is probably a 13.5 or 14 this guy is around a 12-13 just to give you an idea of his speed.
I caught him on the way going out ...asked him to hit a few ball with it just to try it out. He mumbled somthing negative to the effect about the appearance of the cue. Then he proceded to hit a few difficult long cut shots at speed...didnt miss the first 6-7 shots The first hit he said "solid cue" Ran a few more balls and commented again on how well it hit... After playing with it for a while...he said " this is the best playing cue I've ever hit with. " you would never think this by looking at it... Can you get another one....300.00? man thats a steal. Im going to try to get up with Fuller and let him test it out also and see what he thinks?

I don't understand why you feel the need to slander me and spread innuendo and lies.
I am not now, nor have I even been in buisiness with Dean. The company I work for and the factory I work with are NOT now and NOT EVER going to make the cues he is selling. Dean and I have NEVER EVER spoken about producing cues for him.
I am astounded that a person of your high moral character would stoop to inventing lies and slander in order to dodge the mistakes you made in characterizing the purchasers of these cues as suckers and also in your comments as to the price limit of full splice sneaky petes.
Instead of a simple apology you would rather escalate this to a completely personal level.
I have no problem that you don't sell anything we make. I am quite sure that Full Splice Billiards is not now nor has ever been a customer of Stelring Gaming or Instroke Cue Cases. I would prefer to have dealers who aren't two-faced, hypocritical liars. If you were my dealer then I am sure I would have fired you long ago and asked you to take your business elsewhere. There are enough good people in this business that we need to service and not enough time to waste on closed-minded hypocrites such as yourself.
Yes, Mr. Rittel, I am labeling you two-faced and hypocritical because you jump on the "communist" bandwagon when it suits you and yet you have no problem to sell cues and probably use many products that are made-in-china.
I am calling you a liar because you attempt to make it seem as if I have a financial stake in the Dean cues and say that is why I called you out for your malicious and incorrect comment. This is not true but when someone esle suggested it you bit into it like a rabid monkey. It is apparent to me that you do not like to be corrected when you are flat out wrong and that you will resort to vile and rude tactics to avoid admitting that you are wrong. Quite shocking for a person who spends half of his posts telling us how honest he is.
So it is of no consequence to me that you are informing me that I won't need to deal with you on a professional level. I just hope that you can somehow and someday develop a fraction of the honesty and integrity you claim to have. If you do then you will realize that you have been out of line in this thread with your comments concerning me.

I don't know that I have done Dean any favors or not. How would you know that? Is Dean out of business? Are his customers demanding their money back? I haven't seen any evidence of such. Have you? I do want to understand what exactly the three of you are maintaining as a goal in continuing to bait each other in this running argument.
Get to the point, make that point, wait for the reply and offer one counterpoint...as I am leaning heavy toward locking this thread.
Other than perpetuating the pointless, I've lost sight of what could come from this exchange that is positive.
I will also say this:
Bashing cuemakers or case makers is very poor form. I don't care who makes it or where....either buy one or don't, but the personal slant that is being put on the perspectives will come full circle sooner or later and you will cross the line for forum rules...if you haven't already.

My apologizes to anyone I offended when I took this thread off topic by asking John if he was a communist. If he is he certainly has the right. Many have served and fought to enable us to persue the political convictions of our choice. If raising the question can be construed as an ad hominem attack I also apologize for that. It wasn't my intent. Watching him spin, bob and weave was. He's bright enough to know it and enjoys playing as much as I do. Practice is essential to stay in stroke. IMHO all the exchanges between John and I have been civil with the possible exception of when he called me an asshole some time ago. I didn't take it as an insult in any way, shape or form; I trapped him and it was his way of tapping out.
On topic: I'll reiterate that I've known DEAN for a LONG time. I consider him a FRIEND. It's been my experience that he generally understates and overdelivers.

I agree John,i think Dean is a good guy,i mean his marketing is alittle strange but he is honest and doesnt rip people off,the buyers are happy with their cues and for $300 i think they got some nice cues that other players in their area dont have and probably play just as good as the top cuemakers out there.Good job Dean!JB Cases said:

The "trap" was sprung in another thread a while ago. You were caught in a web of your making and in exasperation called me an asshole just prior to the thread being pulled/locked.
