Another funny one (haha)

Man, what a rip. The cue is a Joss model J-4 worth maybe $250-350 in excellent condition. Someone should write "old man Joss" and let him know how much his cues have appreciated in value.

Actually, they seem to line up in droves to buy this stuff.... and, yup, people tend to be stupid, not here on AZ though.....:D :D

A well respected cue maker has told me more than once .
"You Can not fix Stupid "

How True:)

WTB - 1984 Joss cue in good condition

I really need to have a 1984 joss cue - looking for the special edition VAN HALEN 1984 JUMP cue. Heard old man Joss was not well, and therefore only made a handful of these. Just need to make some money and sell it on the Bay. Anybody have one of these fine collectibles from 1984????

Heard they even have one that plays the song when you JUMP!!!

I get up, and nothing gets me down.
You got it tough. Ive seen the toughest around.
And I know, baby, just how you feel.
Youve got to roll with the punches to get to whats real
Oh cant you see me standing here,
Ive got my back against the record machine
I aint the worst that youve seen.
Oh cant you see what I mean ?
Might as well jump. jump !
Might as well jump.
Go ahead, jump. jump !:D
Go ahead, jump.

:D :D :D :D :D

Sounds like pricey lemonade.

There was a little boy who was selling lemonade on the sidewalk in front of his house. A man approached and asked him "how much for a glass of lemonade?".
the boy replied, "one million dollars".
the man looked at the boy very seriously and said,"Young man, you are not going to sell a lot of lemonade at that price."
The boy replied, "Mister, at that price all I gotta do is sell just one!"

I see these this type of pricing everywhere things are sold and it has driven me to develop a very basic tenet. that I ascribe to when reading any type of "for sale" advertisement...that is 'there's no harm in asking'. :D
Just consider it entertainment.

It has occurred to me that perhaps there is money laundering going on at ebay. There are an awful lot of items that sell there for significantly over their retail value. I doubt this is one of those deals, because those deals usually involve ordinary items and minimal descriptions, but it's something to think about. Does anyone know a crack dealer who may be able to confirm this?

I'm with you. This isn't funny. I too used to buy on ebay. Now it seems all there are there are scam artists trying to rip people off. I am afraid to buy anything on there now. This is a much better forum and more honest people. I have no problem with people wanting to make a buck but I have a big problem with thieves. Had my ebay account highjacked by scam artists last year. Took months to straighten it out. They were selling bogus goods using my account. I got billed hundreds for stuff I had never seen, much less trying to sell. I still watch stuff but haven't been buying................
