I just thought I would pile on this thread. Congratulations on another television appearance (though I still haven't seen the last one). Here's wishing you a happy holiday season, and hope your good play extends into the new year (especially if you are playing in Michigan City and Peoria where we midwesterner's can attend).

watch out Mel...if your not careful you just might end up winning 1 of these tourny's. back to back TV matches, only thing left now is winning the whole kit and kaboottle.

Thank you all! It was another great tournament...and I am very happy with the outcome!
Of course, I would have loved to win my television match - but Julie Kelly was really having a great tournament...and she took full advantage of a couple of position errors on my part and a couple of dry breaks....and she took the match 7-5. I can't complain because she played very well and was a terrific opponent!
I am also very proud of Jennifer Barretta! She and I played a near-perfect match, but she took the loss in stride and went on to kick some booty in the TV round! Congratulations to her on a great tournament!
I am leaving in a few minutes for the airport - headed off to Austria for the World Championships! Although I am homesick and a little travel-weary, I am looking forward to the experience...and looking forward to winning some matches on the international stage. "Team USA" is very strong this year...and it should be very exciting!!!!
