Hey folks,

Just curious to find out what make and estimated value this cue stick I have is. I'm not looking to sell it, possibly display it later down the road in the room somewhere. I couldn't find anything such as labels or giveaways to indicate the make, hoping you guys can lend a hand!

Looks like a Brunswick Titlist to me. They go on ebay weekly from anywhere from $250-$500. Could be another old Brunswick. The pics of the points aren't quite good enough to tell if its definitely a Titlist. If its not it will hurt the value.

Maybe a Greenleaf Brunswick. As stubby as the points are may well be a conversion.
 
It would have been nice to see pics of the full cue so we could see the proportions.

It looks like a Titlist conversion to me copying the Willie Hope Pro/Rambow style from the 1940's and 1950's. Based on the joint it looks like the cue was made sometime in the 1960's or even 1970's.

Is there a weight mark on the cue forearm or any identifying marks at all? If so, where exactly is it located?

The points on this may look short because the wrap is set higher than usual, which is distinctly a Rambow look. The overall quality of the custom work would determine the value. Any idea where the cue is from or a vintage?

Does the ring in the butt look like it's ivory?

You know there are cue ID threads in the main forum, in the sales forum, in the gallery, ask the cuemaker, etc... how about getting a sub forum in the cue section somewhere?

This BTW looks like an old Brunswick Hoppe. Rambow?

Someone reworked a Hoppe - it even has the orig butt screw.
The finish apears to have worn off many years ago.
If the Hoppe ring is original - that would date the Hoppe butt to
1941 - 1952, which looks reasonable based on the veneers.

Looks like a Rambow to me - a very simple one where he left
the standard Hoppe dimensions in tact - he did that with some cues

Longer joint pin than standard Hoppe, no label, no branded sig or weight
number. Put them all together, they spell Rambow.

Disclaimer: obviously, all this could have been done by someone other
than Herman.
