Sorry to here this news - Terry and I played many years ago on the infamous "Table 5" in his upstairs pool room. He also make me a Schon Sneaky Pete cue that was fantastic when I was 18, traveling with Big John and Doug Smith in Milwaukee playing Kevin Stenell.

Rest in Peace, Terry, I'll always remember your great hospitality.

Sorry to hear this. I enjoyed the hospitality of Terry and his room when we were in Milwaukee. He told me a great story about a European dealer who literally opened a briefcase full of cash on the pool table and said how many cues can I buy with this.

Without Terry there might not have ever been a Schon cues. Takes the money to support the talent sometimes and that's what Terry did for Bob Runde and Evan Clark.

Well Terry you can finally start snapping off Fatty and all the other hustlers who went before you. Thanks for bringing the world a great cue and a great place to use it in.

R.I.P. Terry. May the tables on the other side play with the heavenly grace that you have shown to others.

Sorry to hear the news. I didn't know him but Mark Wilson told me Terry was a great guy who helped Mark a lot when he was younger.

Condolences to his family and friends.

Condolences

I offer my deepest sympathies to the Family of Terry Romine. Although it has been many years since I last saw or spoke to Terry, he has always been one of the constant pillars of pool in the United States. Whether supporting Pro's,Tournaments,Leagues,Juniors,BEF, and virtually every category of participation in pool, he didn't hesitate to be a part of it. He is one of the "Old Guard" who kept pool alive during the down times when economies were hurting pool rooms across the country.

Before my time at the BCA, I lived in Janesville,Wisconsin, and had to split time between Romine's,Cue Nique,The Carom Room, and my friend Dallas West's little room in Rockford. It was not unusual to wander into Romine's and see any number of the great local players, and the old road players being steered by Terry's firm but fair guidance into action.

Terry is a Legend amongst pool room owners. Rightfully so. Godspeed.

Carl
