Hey All,

I'm Phil, just a casual player with a love for the game who's already gained a huge amount of insight (and amusement :grin-square::grin-square:) from this forum. I'm 23 and haven't been playing seriously for that long but I practice as much as time allows. I don't play league, but I'm around a 5 by APA standards. My playing nickname is Pol Pot... I hope it doesn't offend anyone -- one lucky night I was "killing" everyone in the room and it just stuck.

My first post here I asked for contact info on Mike Shamos, and he replied personally. How amazing is that? What a great resource this is.

I live in NJ and spend a lot of time in both Philly and NYC. If anyone ever wants a game or needs help with some muscle to move a table or reclaim and stolen cue... I'm just a PM away!

Welcome. I'm new here too. So far this place is really cool. You got a ton of great players in jersey. You ever gone to any tournies and met any of them?

Welcome, I think you will fit in here very well, it is always good to have people around who have a sense of humor.

Great introductory thread. LOL at the stolen cue help:wink: welcome to the board. I was good at 23.......wish I could go back:frown:. Enjoy the forum just try to play more then you post.
